Walk an Owl 

Our most popular one-hour activity delights everyone. You will meet two of our owls and take them for a walk. Wearing a leather glove, the owl will be rest on your hand, fly and return to your hand as we gently stroll around the grounds. A wonderful way to get up close and personal to these beautiful magical creatures. During this delightful experience, you will learn more about the owls, their habitats, their personalities, and how they live in the wild. Suitable for ages 7+

Meet incredible birds of prey

During our half-day falconry experience, we will introduce you to at least five different birds and teach you lots about their species and share our love of falconry, the great outdoors, and nature. This is a wonderful experience for the whole family, and it continues to thrill all ages. Whether it’s watching the birds soar high above your heads, swoop and dive or gracefully glide through the topiary to land on a glove, it never fails to bring hours of enjoyment. Suitable for ages 7+

Fire a deactivated shotgun

Put the games console down and connect with the real deal. Come and try shooting with our deactivated shotguns, you’ll get to hold what feels like a shotgun as you pull the trigger on this exhilarating experience – the only one of its kind in the whole of Kent! The clay system uses standard but deactivated 12 bore shotguns with built-in infra-red technology. These guns feel and shoot like the real thing but without the recoil and bruises.

Try archery in the woods

Unleash your inner Robin Hood with our idyllic woodlands setting where you will get the opportunity to try your skill and aim at our targets and 3D animals hiding in the woods. A brilliant hour of fun where patience, stance, and accuracy will win you gold. Suitable for ages 9+

Throw an axe

That’s right, you heard that correctly. You will get the opportunity to throw an axe at our carefully created wooden targets in a clearing in the woods. How difficult can it be? Why not come along and find out? Suitable for ages 11+
