Schools & Youth Groups
Being accessible to young people in Youth Groups and Schools has always been incredibly important and a main focus for Joe’s Bows. Being leaders in youth organisations ourselves we know exactly how experiences such as our falconry or archery sessions can really boost confidence, increase skills and be great fun too!
youth group sessions
We are able to come to your setting in the evenings and meet your young people across the South East Region. Each section meets approx 1.5hrs, this is perfect timing for any of our activities, Archery, Falconry or Axe Throwing. All our activities can be done indoors or outside, allowing us to attend in all weathers! Maybe you are having a large district or group event at the weekend, we can bring our activities along to you event also.
Joe's Bows can come along to your educational facility and offer Archery, Axe Throwing & Falconry.
Our mobile Archery Range in the most exciting on the circuit, with 3D targets, Foam and Straw for Archery, Joe and his team are able to work to your requirements, whether for a PE Lesson or Progress Awards we can discuss these options with you.
The Axe Throwing for secondary school age upwards, is a great way to unleash their energy and learn a new skill too. We use the finest Tomahawks and Wood Targets to achieve the Aim and Stance required!
Our Falconry Package is the best on the South East circuit, we offer a flying display, our birds will fly around your location, indoors or out and it a great opportunity to watch the birds do what they do best-fly! Our interactive display is a fantastic way to assist any class sessions, for instance, Science Week, we can concentrate on Movement, flight, Weight and more. We can tailor our sessions to discuss with the young people any subjects you are wishing to build on.
Joe's Bows will host holiday workshops every Half Term at Willow Farm on Hanslett's lane, between 9.15am-3.15pm we provide an exciting, adventurous experience, the young people are able to fly our Hawks and Owls, build an outdoor shelter for survival skills, cook our classic recipe Twists and S'mores PLUS Archery in our exclusive woodland setting, allowing the young people to explore, burn energy, learn new skills PLUS make new friends.
